E-invoicing (Peppol / EN 16931)Pro

Send structured, compliant electronic invoices over the Peppol network — built on the EU EN 16931 standard.

Coming soon

E-invoice sending is rolling out and is enabled per account. The fields below are already live, so you can fill in your details now and be ready the moment it switches on for you.

What it is

An e-invoice is a structured, machine-readable invoice (not a PDF) that your client's accounting system can ingest automatically. TeeckIn builds yours to the EU EN 16931 standard and delivers it over the Peppol network.

Several EU countries are making B2B e-invoicing mandatory. The data model is the same across the EU, so getting set up now works wherever you bill.

Get ready now

Two things make an invoice e-invoice-ready. You can fill both in today — they're normal invoicing fields and don't require the feature to be switched on.

Your business identity

In Business settings, add your country, legal registration (e.g. SIRET in France) and your Peppol identifier. These identify you as the seller.

Your client's details

On each client, add their country, VAT number, legal registration and Peppol identifier so the invoice can be addressed and delivered to them.

No backfill needed

Collecting these details is always on. When e-invoicing is enabled for you, your existing clients and invoices are already ready.

Sending an e-invoice

Once enabled, each issued (numbered) invoice gains a Send as e-invoice action.

  1. 1
    Open a sent (numbered) invoice.
  2. 2
In the E-invoice (Peppol) panel, click Send as e-invoice.
  3. 3
Track the delivery status as it updates.

An e-invoice moves through these statuses:

  • Sent — handed to the network for delivery.
  • Delivered — accepted by your client's access point.
  • Failed — something needs fixing (the reason is shown); correct it and resend.

VAT category

EN 16931 requires a VAT category on every invoice. TeeckIn picks it for you, and you can override it when your case is special.

  • Auto — derived from your VAT setting and the seller/buyer countries (covers most cases: domestic VAT, intra-EU, export).
  • Override — choose an explicit category (e.g. Reverse charge for EU cross-border B2B, or Exempt for the small-business VAT franchise) plus an optional exemption reason.

Only affects the e-invoice

The override changes the category on the e-invoice only; it doesn't change your invoice totals or the PDF.

Personal vs Team

Personal invoices bill under your own business identity; invoices issued in an organization (Team mode) bill under the organization's identity — your personal details never appear on a Team document.

Pricing

E-invoicing is a paid-plan feature, billed with a monthly included allowance plus pay-as-you-go beyond it.

  • Included — each paid plan includes a number of e-invoices per month.
  • Overage — beyond the included allowance, extra documents are billed per document.

Tip

You can see how many of your included e-invoices you've used this month in the E-invoice panel on any invoice.
