Limit Details
History Retention (Free Plan)
On the Free plan, time entries older than 30 days are archived. You can export them before archival. Upgrading to Pro restores access to all historical data.
Category and Topic Limits
Free accounts can create up to 3 categories and 10 topics total. Archived or deleted items don't count toward the limit. Pro and Team plans have no limits.
Client Limits
Free accounts can have up to 3 active clients. Pro and Team plans allow unlimited clients for comprehensive client management.
Organization Limits
Free and Pro users can create one organization for personal use. Team plan allows unlimited organizations for managing multiple teams or companies.
Slack/Mattermost Integration Limits
Free accounts can configure 1 webhook integration, Pro allows 10, and Team plans get 25. Use webhooks to send timer events (start, stop, checklist updates) to your team's chat channels.
Feature Badges in the UI
Features that require a higher plan are marked with badges throughout the app:
Pro Badge
Appears on features requiring Pro subscription: invoice creation, recurring entries, time goals, and PDF exports.
Team Badge
Appears on team collaboration features: inviting members and permission groups.
Limit Badge
Appears when you've reached a usage limit (clients, organizations, or exports). Click the button to see upgrade options.
Tip
What Happens When You Hit a Limit
Category limit reached
You'll be prompted to upgrade when trying to create a new category. Existing categories continue to work normally.
Topic limit reached
New topic creation is disabled until you upgrade or delete existing topics. All tracking features continue working.
History retention
Entries older than 30 days become read-only. You can view and export them, but not edit. Timer and new entries work normally.
Client limit reached
You can't add new clients, but existing client assignments and billing features work normally.
Integration limit reached
You can't add new Slack/Mattermost webhooks, but existing integrations continue sending notifications.

The Team plan is designed for groups who need to track time together:
Per-Seat Pricing
$8 per team member per month. The organization owner is included — you only pay for additional members.

Assign Admin, Manager, or Member roles. Control who can see reports, manage billing, and invite others.

Create a common structure for the whole team. Everyone tracks time against the same topics.
