What is TeeckIn?

TeeckIn is a time tracking application designed for developers, freelancers, and teams who need to track billable hours across clients, projects, and tasks. It's fast, simple, and helps you generate invoices from your tracked time.

Your First 5 Minutes

Here's how to start tracking time right away:

    Create a Category — Go to — Go to and add a category like "Work" or "Freelance". Categories group related projects together.

    Add a Topic — Inside your category, create a topic for what you're working on. Set an hourly rate if you're billing for this work. Topics are the projects or tasks you track time against.

    Start the Timer — Go to the — Go to the page and click your topic in the Quick Start panel. The timer starts immediately.

    Stop and Add Notes — When you're done, press — When you're done, press or click Stop. Add notes about what you accomplished. The entry is saved automatically.

Tip

You can also press You can also press +1 through ++9 to start a timer for topics in the Quick Start panel without using the mouse.

Core Concepts

Category
A high-level grouping for your work. Examples: 'Client Work', 'Internal', 'Personal Projects'. Each category has a color for visual organization.
Topic
A specific project or task you track time against. Topics belong to categories and can have an hourly rate for billing purposes.
Timer
The running clock that tracks how long you work. You can have one active timer at a time. Switching topics stops the current timer and starts a new one.
Time Entry
A completed block of tracked time. Each entry has a start time, end time, topic, and optional notes. Also called 'clocked time'.
Organization
A workspace for separating different contexts. Your default 'Personal' workspace is for solo work. Create team organizations to collaborate with others.
