Your First 5 Minutes
Here's how to start tracking time right away:
- 1Create a Category — Go to — Go to and add a category like "Work" or "Freelance". Categories group related projects together.
- 2Add a Topic — Inside your category, create a topic for what you're working on. Set an hourly rate if you're billing for this work. Topics are the projects or tasks you track time against.
- 3Start the Timer — Go to the — Go to the page and click your topic in the Quick Start panel. The timer starts immediately.
- 4Stop and Add Notes — When you're done, press — When you're done, press or click Stop. Add notes about what you accomplished. The entry is saved automatically.
