Accomplishments

Review what you and your team accomplished over any time period.

Overview

The Accomplishments page gives you a clear summary of what was done during any time period. It aggregates completed checklist items and notes from your time entries, grouped by topic or category.

This is perfect for:

  • Preparing for daily standups or weekly reviews
  • Creating client progress reports
  • Tracking what you accomplished each week
  • Seeing what AI agents completed on your behalf

History Limits

Free accounts can view, export, and share accomplishments from the last 30 days only. This applies to the accomplishments page, PDF/Markdown exports, and public share links. Upgrade to Pro for unlimited history access.

Accessing Accomplishments

Click Activity in the sidebar, then choose Accomplishments.

The page shows accomplishments for your current context:

  • Personal context - Shows only your own work
  • Billing entity context - Shows work from all entity members (if you have permission)

What Shows as an Accomplishment

Accomplishments come from two sources:

Completed Tasks

Tasks you mark as "done" appear as accomplishments in the period when they were completed. Each task shows the total time you spent on it, accumulated across all sessions where you worked on it.

Notes from Entries

Time entries with text notes appear as quoted notes in the accomplishments view. These show what you worked on when you didn't use specific tasks.

Tip

For the most useful accomplishments view, use tasks and mark them as "done" when you complete them. This creates a clear record with time breakdowns showing exactly how long each task took.

Editing Task Time

Need to correct a task's time? Click on the duration shown next to any completed task to open the time editor. This is useful when you forgot to mark a task as "ongoing" when you actually started working on it.

The editor shows all time segments for the task and lets you adjust start/end times individually. Use quick adjustment buttons (+5m, +15m, etc.) for fast corrections.

Legacy Items

Only tasks from the new system can be edited. Older items that were stored directly in time entries show their duration as plain text.

Pending Tasks

At the bottom of the page, you'll find the Pending Tasks section. This shows tasks that are still pending or ongoing across your topics.

Pending tasks help you:

  • See what still needs to be done
  • Identify tasks across all your topics
  • Click the checkbox to mark tasks as complete
  • Click to dismiss or trash to delete

Click the Pending Tasks header to expand or collapse this section.

Note

Tasks persist on topics until you complete or dismiss them. When you complete a task, it moves from "pending" to the accomplishments list for that period.

Dismissed Tasks

The Dismissed Tasks section shows tasks you marked as "not needed" during the selected time period.

This is useful for:

  • Reviewing what was deprioritized or cancelled
  • Seeing time spent on tasks before they were dismissed
  • Understanding scope changes in a project

Click the Dismissed Tasks header to expand or collapse this section. Dismissed tasks show when they were dismissed and any time that was tracked.

Deleting Tasks

You can permanently delete tasks from both the Open Tasks and Completed sections by clicking the trash icon. A confirmation dialog will appear before deletion.

Dismiss vs Delete

Dismiss keeps the task in your history with time preserved. Delete permanently removes the task and cannot be undone. Use dismiss for tasks that became irrelevant; use delete for mistakes or duplicates.

Date Range and Grouping

Use the controls at the top of the page to filter accomplishments:

Date Range

Choose Day, Week, or Month view. Use the arrow buttons to navigate between periods, or click "Today" to jump back to the current period.

Grouping

Toggle between Topic and Category grouping. Topic grouping shows each project separately. Category grouping combines all topics under their parent category.

Exporting Accomplishments

Export your accomplishments for reports, standups, or client updates using the Export button in the top-right corner.

Markdown Export

Download as a .md file. Perfect for pasting into Slack, GitHub, Notion, or any other tool that supports Markdown. Generated instantly in your browser.

PDF Export

Download a professionally formatted PDF. Great for client reports or attaching to invoices. Generated on the server for consistent formatting.

Before exporting, you can toggle "Include open tasks" to add the incomplete items to your export. This is off by default so exports focus on what was accomplished.

Agent Attribution

If you use AI agents to track time, their work shows up in accomplishments with a badge indicating which agent created the entry.

This lets you see at a glance what was done by you versus what was done by your agents, making it easy to account for AI-assisted work in reports.

Sharing Accomplishments

Create public share links to let others view your accomplishments without logging in. Perfect for sharing progress with clients, managers, or stakeholders.

Creating a Share Link

Click the Share button in the toolbar to open the sharing dialog. Give your share a title, choose date settings, and optionally add password protection.

Date Constraints

Choose how dates work for viewers:

  • Rolling window - Always shows the last N days (e.g., last 30 days)
  • Fixed period - Shows a specific date range that doesn't change
  • Viewer picks - Let viewers choose their own date range

Privacy Options

Control how your share is accessed:

  • Password protection - Require a password to view
  • Allow export - Let viewers download Markdown copies

Tip

Share links respect your current filters. If you're filtering by specific topics or tags, only those will be visible in the shared view.

Privacy

Public shares are unlisted (not indexed by search engines) and don't track viewer IP addresses. Only view counts are recorded for your reference. Shares automatically expire after 1 year.

History Limits

Share links inherit your plan's history limits. On the Free plan, shared data is limited to the last 30 days, even if you create a share with a longer date range. Upgrade to Pro for unlimited history in your shared views.

Edge Cases

Task completed after session ended

Tasks appear in accomplishments based on when you marked them "done", not when you worked on them. If you complete a task on a different day, it shows in that day's accomplishments.

Tasks span multiple sessions

Time for a task is accumulated across all sessions where you worked on it. The total time shows in accomplishments when you complete the task.

Empty accomplishments

If you tracked time but didn't use tasks or notes, the accomplishments view will be empty for that period. Consider using tasks to better track what you're working on.

Viewing old accomplishments on Free plan

Free accounts are limited to the last 30 days. Trying to view older dates shows a banner prompting you to upgrade. Your historical data is still saved and becomes accessible when you upgrade.
