Profile Settings
Update your name, email address, and profile picture.
Overview
Your profile information identifies you within TeeckIn. Your name and avatar appear in shared organizations, team activity feeds, and reports. Your email is used for login and notifications.
Changing Your Name
- 1Open Account Settings
- 2Find the Profile section
- 3Edit the Display Name field
- 4Click Save Changes
Tip
Your display name appears in organization member lists, activity feeds, and shared reports. Choose something your team will recognize.
Changing Your Email
Changing your email requires verification to protect your account:
- 1Open Account Settings
- 2Click Change Email in the Profile section
- 3Enter your new email address
- 4Enter your current password to confirm
- 5Check your new email for a verification link
- 6Click the link to complete the change
Important
Until you verify your new email, your login email remains unchanged. The verification link expires after 24 hours.
What happens during email change:
- A verification email is sent to your new address
- A notification email is sent to your old address
- You continue using your old email until verification completes
- After verification, all notifications go to your new email
Profile Picture
Add a profile picture to personalize your account:
- 1Open Account Settings
- 2Click on your avatar or the Change Avatar button
- 3Upload an image file (JPG, PNG, or GIF)
- 4Crop and adjust as needed
- 5Click Save
Note
Images are automatically resized and optimized. For best results, use a square image at least 200x200 pixels.
Avatar Formats
- JPG, PNG, or GIF (non-animated)
- Maximum file size: 5 MB
- Will be cropped to a circle in displays
Removing Your Avatar
- 1Open Account Settings
- 2Click on your avatar
- 3Click Remove Avatar
After removal, your avatar will show your initials on a colored background (generated from your name).
Where Your Profile Appears
Your profile information is visible in:
- Organization member lists — When you join a team
- Activity feeds — When tracking in shared organizations
- Reports — When generating team reports
- Comments and notes — If you add notes to shared entries
